Raw material is raw material
What happens when plastics, metal, corrugated cardboard or carton has served its time as packaging? Does it end up on landfills? The main characters in the movie “Raw Materials in a Loop” are flying milk cartons, empty tubs of butter, canned mackerel in tomato sauce and clumsy cartons of crisps. We follow them through the recovery process where these packaging products are recycled into new raw materials which in turn is used in the production of new products.
